I've seen earlier discussion on this phrase, and was surprised to find that there was no apparent association with eating or being over-fed.
I refer to the common English word “tucker/ to tuck” which refers to food to be consumed / to consume food.
I figured that if you were “all tuckered out”, then perhaps you had eaten too much and were feeling uncomfortably bloated and drowsy.
Is there any chance of this association?
