I would call it a suitcase.

There are quite a few terms for this kind of bag, some of which are proprietary to particular manufacturers. Some generic terms for it are roller bag / suitcase and roll-along bag / suitcase.

Blind and visually impaired people like me generally refer to them as a "f***ing menace".

Steve I have a bag like that and I use it as a cabin bag/luggage. The reason being that is is small enough to meet the requirements for carry-on luggage in an aeroplane.

Tony it would be an unusual shaped bag. Kinda bumpy at the top end.
