Nothing at all like his previous, except for the extraordinary degree of perception and observation Mr Haddon displays in the descriptions of this ordinary, disfunctional/complicated family and their behaviours.

Oh but there is a dog in it briefly and hilariously, so it is a bit.

I laughed out loud many times, but empathised totally with George as he contemplated his own mortality.
