A friend of a fellow school governor works in a hospital. One day she was called into see the boss because he had received a complaint about her from an Indian doctor who claimed she had acted in a racist manner on several occasions by calling him "Curry Head".
The man telling us the story didn't need to go any further because everyone in the room was Welsh and we all knew that "Darling" in Welsh is "Cariad".
